The
ongoing fight between Adnan Sami and his ex-wife Sabah Galadari took a
new turn on Tuesday after the issue of the Pakistani singer's stay in
India allegedly without a visa came up during cross-examination. Sami
and media heiress Sabha are locked in a bitter battle over the
possession of a duplex flat at Lokhandwala Complex,While the goal of
achieving 1,000 in donated tools by opening day may seem lofty, he said,
"Seattle has gotten 6,000 drill rod donated,
so we're thinking 1,000 is do-able here. where the singer currently
stays with his third wife. The dispute is being heard by Judge I M
Bohari at the Family Court, Bandra.Sabah claims the flat was not only
purchased with her money but also had been gifted to her by Sami.
Seeking to corner 44-year-old Sami over his alleged overstay, Sabah's
lawyer Mrinalini Deshmukh said, "During cross examination, he said that
he had a Pakistani passport and was residing in India on the basis of
visa granted to him from time to time. And as we get more money and more
members, we'll be able to replace donated core barrel with
higher-grade, contractor-grade tools. He said his visa was valid from
September 26, 2012 till October 6, 2013.This is done as there are no
incisions that are caused due to Epoxy strand factories treatment and the risk of surgical complications are also reduced to a great extent."
Deshmukh
said when Sami was asked if he was residing in India illegally, the
singer said he did not know. Deshmukh said, "I wish to know what the
Mumbai police are doing. This is their opportunity to comment on those
changes rock bolt and
make sure we haven't missed anything."Defending himself, Sami said,So
we are not only discussing all of the feedback we've received, drag bit but
also giving feedback to attendees in the PCI community. "My visa was
indeed till October 6. It is being renewed.'' Sami's lawyer Usha Tanna
said, "Yes, the issue of visa did come up in the cross examination, but
this does not come under the jurisdiction of the family court.''Advocate
Deshmukh said Sami was also questioned about his bank accounts. "Sami
said that he did not have a bank account since he is a Pakisani
citizen,'' she said. Sami countered any suggestions of violation of
rules saying, he was a tax payer since last 14 years and had applied to
the Reserve Bank of India for permission to have a bank account.
"Sabah
wants compensation from me though she is a billionaire. All my money is
declared. My management company receives the money and disburses it to
me as per my needs. I will follow this procedure till I get an
account.''Deputy Commissioner of Police Special Branch I Sanjay Shintre
said, "I will have to look at our records before commenting onthe visa
issue." KCB has won a licence from VISA Inc to launch credit cards in
South Sudan, a war-torn country where few people have a bank account,
the executives said.KCB was one of the first foreign banks to set up
shop in Juba after the end of civil war between south and north Sudan in
2005, which led six years later to the secession of South Sudan.South
Sudan has a large business potential with a population of nearly 12
million but has struggled to build up state institutions and an
efficient legal system.
